TrustPoint Innovation’s mCA Service is a managed PKI
service designed to support large scale machine to machine applications. The hosted
PKI service integrates directly with
TrustPoint Innovation’s mSecure SDK to enable fast
development and deployment of certificates to secure communications and provide
authentication and digital signatures for millions of devices.
mCA is designed from the ground up for large scale deployments ranging from
NFC tags to smart utility meters and broadband
wireless devices.
TrustPoint Innovation’s mCA is designed around a small, yet strong
ECC
M2M certificate profile. These highly efficient
certificates have the same capabilities at only a fraction the size of conventional X.509
(version 3) and have been adopted as the standard format for
NFC certificates.
mCA lets customers integrate certificate issuance and management directly into their
provisioning processes for machine applications. Unlike conventional
PKI designs that assume there is a human in
the loop, TrustPoint Innovation’s mCA specializes in fast and automatic high volume device certificate
issuance.
mCA has an NFC-compliant tag signing
application that lets NFC customers generate
high volumes of signed NFC
NDEF messages. You can create and manage
multiple signing identities and generate millions of unique signed tag messages.
mCA Customers get their own branded PKI
system and complete control of all certificate operations under their
sub-CA. You can establish one or more trusted
groups of M2M devices, admitting or removing devices
as you need.
TrustPoint Innovation operates the mCA infrastructure in a secure private cloud so you do not have to
worry about hardware, software, or physical security. mCA users simply log into their
private mCA cloud to issue and manage certificates and signatures.
