TrustPoint’s mSecure™ SDK is a security toolkit designed for machine to machine applications. It performs all the security functions needed to establish secure and authenticated communications between devices.
mSecure supports a wide range of M2M applications including Near Field Communication (NFC), Broadband Wireless, Smart Grid, and Vehicle to Vehicle.
mSecure is quick and easy to integrate and does not require any specialized developer knowledge. Unlike other cryptographic toolkits which offer a choice of dozens of low level algorithms, but no guidance, mSecure takes care of the details and lets the developer focus on the overall design.
mSecure connects seamlessly with TrustPoint’s mCA™ Service to ensure your products are backed by highly efficient, low cost, machine to machine certificates. mSecure uses Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) to achieve highly efficient and secure applications with minimal computational overhead and bandwidth. The TrustPoint team pioneered the commercialization of ECC and has implemented the most widely used ECC systems in the world today.
mSecure provides key generation, digital signature key exchange, and secure communication sessions using ECC for public key operations, AES for bulk encryption, and SHA for hashing.
M2M certificate request, receipt and validation functions seamlessly integrate into mSecure and are designed to connect with TrustPoint’s mCA.
